Two teams of teachers dedicated to student achievement! Freshman academy is a systematic approach to adjust to high school life, which provides advanced classes and electives throughout the year. The Academy is geared toward increasing academic success and focused on building relationships. The Freshman Academy provides students with a team of teachers and peers to support them in their pivotal transition year, while also giving teachers an opportunity to facilitate communication with their students, share successful strategies with them, and provide timely and effective intervention. There are four teachers on each team, one each from ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies with one teacher from special education working with both teams.
